"Shoa"

ebreo errante, ebreo maledetto,
e nessuna parola su loro è proibita
sospetto di crimini e tradimento
sono stati messi in prigione

sono stati torturati e assassinati
in nome di un'idea insana
ed ora, più che mai
chi è il seguente, prego ?

"Stalag Zehn B"

il feldwebel era promosso generale
il dottore dell’accampamento, professore
e noi gli ebrei - è banale
noi siamo rimasti ebrei - nessun errore

" Iprite "

tardi la sera
una nebbia
riempie la valle
senza sapere
soffoca
come una forza scura
sui campi
i nostri cadaveri
e sotto l'erba
una terra bruna

"Tyne Cot "

Quando sei partito
per il fronte
tu eri
un eroe vivente
e adesso
tu sei sulla cima
della collina
dove non ci sono che
papaveri
fioriti.

Silence !

don't try to be
who you are

silence !

some more discipline
and a cheerful face

silence !

your duty is sacred
work yourself to death

silence !

your only way
is "their" way

silence !

"Stalag Zehn B"

the feldwebel became a general

the campdoctor , a professor

and we the jews - it’s banal

we stayed jewish - no error .

"SHOA"

wandering jew,damned jew

and no words on them are forbidden

suspected of crimes and treason

they have been put in jail

-

they have been tortured and murdered

in the name of an insane idea

and now - more than ever -

who is next, please ?

Mauthausen 186

Stone by stone
we made a step
Step by step
we went to heaven.

Red River

the train was too late
by foot it was too far
the river too nearby
the hatred too strong
bullets through your head
river of blood
red Danube
dead Budapest

© by Jan Theuninck

" Yperite "

late at night

a mist

fills the valley.

without knowing

it suffocates

like a dark power.

on the fields

our dead bodies

and under the grass

a brown soil

© by Jan Theuninck

" Tyne Cot "

when you left

for the front

you were

living heroes

and now

you’re on top

of the hill

where only

poppies

blow..........

PAPIRAC

The real post-war power

is still the one of the "Uebermenschen"

and this "democracy" can’t be realized

but on the back of the "Untermenschen" !

Polygon Wood

like a shrine
you lie
in the middle
of the wood
and warn
of those
who preach
peace
and make
war
